The S13 tank was baffled for a stock pump. Fit a real one and the pickup runs dry before the tank does.

The Radium Engineering fuel pump hanger for early Nissan chassis replaces the stock in-tank pump module with a drop-in assembly that accepts one, two, or three aftermarket pumps. The pumps sit in the factory collector bowl and draw through a mesh filter at the base, and fuel cannot pass between the three independent filtration chambers, so a failing sock on one pump cannot starve the others. The factory fuel level float and low fuel switch keep working. No cutting or modifying of sheet metal or tank required.

The Details

Pump choice decides the version, not the chassis. Note a genuinely convenient detail: if fewer than three pumps are installed, the empty port does not need to be blocked off, so a single-pump build needs no extra parts. Some assembly is required and pumps are not included in either version.

On wiring, a single Walbro GSS342 install can reuse the OEM fuel pump wiring, though upgrading is recommended so the pump sees full voltage. Anything beyond that wants a Radium DIY wiring kit per pump. To carry delivery forward to the rail, the 20-0703 early Nissan plumbing kit runs 8AN feed through a filter mounted in the stock location on a Nissan-specific billet mount, with a 6AN return; note it is not designed for the stock fuel rail.
