Description

If your fuel trims drift every time the weather changes, your injector data is guessing.

Once boost and ethanol enter the picture, factory injectors become the first hard ceiling in the whole combination. The ID1300-XDS answers that with 1335cc/min of flow at 3.0 bar, compatibility with all known fuels, built for E85, delivered as a matched set of 4 for your 2004-2005 Mazda MX-5 Miata. Each set is flow matched using Dual Slope Matching and backed by full characterization data, so your ECU gets real numbers, not estimates. It is the boring, repeatable fueling every serious build needs.

What You'll Feel

  • Faster dyno sessions, because accurate injector data means less time chasing fuel trims
  • Steady AFRs when boost climbs, no lean spikes at the top of the pull
  • Stock-like idle and clean cold starts, even at this injector size
  • Fuel trims that stay put season to season instead of drifting with the weather
  • Crisp part-throttle response instead of the surge and stumble big injectors are known for

Features

  • Nominal flow rate: 1335cc/min at 3.0 bar (43.5 psi), measured with iso-octane at 52 degrees C (125 degrees F)
  • Maximum differential fuel pressure: 7.0 bar (101.5 psi)
  • Compatible with all known fuels and designed specifically for alternative fuels like E85
  • All stainless internals stand up to the corrosive nature of alcohol fuels
  • USCAR electrical connector
  • Configuration: 60mm body, 11mm top, application-specific lower fitment
  • Supplied as a flow-matched set with Dual Slope Matching for consistent delivery at low pulse widths

The Details

The ID1300-XDS was designed in partnership with Bosch Motorsport with alternative fuels in mind, and its stainless internals shrug off the corrosive side of alcohol better than anything else in this flow class. It was also built with the occasional switch back to gasoline in mind, with a minimum fuel mass low enough to idle and cruise cleanly on pump gas. Every set ships flow matched, and Injector Dynamics publishes full characterization data, including slope, offset (dead time) versus voltage and pressure, and short pulse width behavior, so your tuner can load real numbers instead of chasing fuel trims across the map. Accurate dead times are what make large injectors behave at idle and cruise, and they are the reason these tune quickly and stay tuned. This is an application-specific part number with machined fitment hardware, so it drops in without guessing at adapters. If your harness does not have USCAR plugs, the matching ID plug and play adapter is 91.3 (USCAR to Denso), available separately, no cutting or soldering required.

Fitment Notes

  • Mazdaspeed Miata: 94-05 Mazdaspeed Miata / 1.8L Turbo, 11mm (blue) adapters, -204 lower cushions (remove lower o-ring retainer).
