Description

Mismatched injectors make every cylinder run its own tune.

A factory fuel system that was sized for stock power runs out of injector long before a built engine runs out of airflow, and 1993-1995 Mazda RX-7 builds hit that wall early. The ID1300-XDS (the current evolution of the ID1300x) answers that with 1335cc/min of flow at 3.0 bar, compatibility with all known fuels, built for E85, delivered as a matched set of 2 for your 1993-1995 Mazda RX-7. Each set is flow matched using Dual Slope Matching and backed by full characterization data, so your ECU gets real numbers, not estimates. Sized right, characterized right, tuned right.

What You'll Feel

  • Faster dyno sessions, because accurate injector data means less time chasing fuel trims
  • Stock-like idle and clean cold starts, even at this injector size
  • Steady AFRs when boost climbs, no lean spikes at the top of the pull
  • Headroom to grow the build without touching the fuel system again
  • Cylinder-to-cylinder consistency you can see in your lambda and EGT logs

Features

  • Nominal flow rate: 1335cc/min at 3.0 bar (43.5 psi), measured with iso-octane at 52 degrees C
  • Maximum differential fuel pressure: 7.0 bar (101.5 psi)
  • Compatible with all known fuels and designed specifically for alternative fuels like E85
  • USCAR electrical connector
  • Supplied as a flow-matched set with Dual Slope Matching for consistent delivery at low pulse widths
  • All stainless internals stand up to the corrosive nature of alcohol fuels

The Details

The ID1300-XDS was designed in partnership with Bosch Motorsport with alternative fuels in mind, and its stainless internals shrug off the corrosive side of alcohol better than anything else in this flow class. It was also built with the occasional switch back to gasoline in mind, with a minimum fuel mass low enough to idle and cruise cleanly on pump gas. Dual Slope Matching keeps cylinder-to-cylinder delivery consistent at the short pulse widths where high flow injectors usually fall apart. Every set ships flow matched, and Injector Dynamics publishes full characterization data, including slope, offset (dead time) versus voltage and pressure, and short pulse width behavior, so your tuner can load real numbers instead of chasing fuel trims across the map. Accurate dead times are what make large injectors behave at idle and cruise, and they are the reason these tune quickly and stay tuned.
