Description

An E85 build is only as good as the injectors feeding it.

A factory fuel system that was sized for stock power runs out of injector long before a built engine runs out of airflow, and 1990-2005 Mazda Miata builds hit that wall early. The ID1050-XDS (the current evolution of the ID1050x) answers that with 1065cc/min of flow at 3.0 bar, compatibility with all known fuels including E85, delivered as a matched set of 4 for your 1990-2005 Mazda Miata. Each set is flow matched using Dual Slope Matching and backed by full characterization data, so your ECU gets real numbers, not estimates. Sized right, characterized right, tuned right.

What You'll Feel

  • Fuel trims that stay put season to season instead of drifting with the weather
  • Crisp part-throttle response instead of the surge and stumble big injectors are known for
  • Faster dyno sessions, because accurate injector data means less time chasing fuel trims
  • Headroom to grow the build without touching the fuel system again
  • Steady AFRs when boost climbs, no lean spikes at the top of the pull

Features

  • Nominal flow rate: 1065cc/min at 3.0 bar (43.5 psi), measured with gasoline at 52 degrees C
  • Maximum differential fuel pressure: 10.0 bar (145.0 psi)
  • Compatible with all known fuels, including gasoline, E85, and ethanol blends
  • USCAR electrical connector
  • Supplied as a flow-matched set with Dual Slope Matching for consistent delivery at low pulse widths
  • Corrosion resistant internals for extended service life on ethanol and other corrosive fuels

The Details

The ID1050-XDS is the current evolution of the ID1050x, built to spec with Bosch Motorsport rather than modified from a production part. Dual Slope Matching matches flow in both the linear and nonlinear range, so cylinder-to-cylinder delivery stays consistent even at the short pulse widths where big injectors usually get ugly. Every set ships flow matched, and Injector Dynamics publishes full characterization data, including slope, offset (dead time) versus voltage and pressure, and short pulse width behavior, so your tuner can load real numbers instead of chasing fuel trims across the map. Accurate dead times are what make large injectors behave at idle and cruise, and they are the reason these tune quickly and stay tuned.
