The Haltech Elite 2000/2500 Toyota Chaser JZX100 (1JZ-GTE) Plug 'n' Play Adaptor Harness sits between the factory engine harness and a Haltech Elite 2000/2500 ECU. One side carries the factory ECU connectors, the other plugs straight into the Elite, so the factory loom stays untouched and the swap is fully reversible. A typical install is a few hours, not a weekend of pinouts and splices. It suits the JDM Mark II / Cresta / Chaser JZX100 and the MY96-01 Soarer JZZ30, both with the 1JZ-GTE VVT-i and a manual transmission. Fitting it disables the factory TRC and ETCS systems; their warning lights will come on, and Haltech recommends removing those bulbs from the cluster.
