• Accord and Prelude: Rywire may need to borrow your stock engine harness to match the shock tower plug layout.
• Rywire also builds 1998-1999 Accord, 1992-1996 Prelude and 1997-2001 Prelude versions (Prelude requires a core). These are not in the selector; email us for a custom quote.

Which engine computer do I need?

A Hondata K-Pro or a reflashed computer is the intended setup. A stock RSX computer can be used once the immobilizer is bypassed.

Do I keep my factory harness?

Keep the interior harness and do not cut it; the adapter plugs into it. Your old engine harness is not used with the K-series engine.

Is any drilling or relocating needed?

You may need to pull the shock tower plugs into the interior for a cleaner fit, and you will drill a small hole in the exhaust tunnel for the O2 sensor plug. Email service@tunedbyshawn.com with your engine, chassis and ECU before ordering if you are unsure which configuration you need.

Which Rywire K-swap adapter do I need for my car?

The k-adapter covers 1988-2001 Civic and CRX, 1990-2001 Integra, 1990-1997 Accord and 1999-2006 Insight. A 2001-2005 Civic uses k-em2, an S2000 uses K-S2k-Kpro, a race car without an interior harness uses k-sub-race and a BMW E30 uses E30-K20A.
