Rywire Budget Tucked D/B-Series Engine Harness, OBD2 - B-Swap for Civic, CRX, Integra (B2-Base)

Rywire B2-Base is the budget tucked engine harness for D-series and B-series swaps with OBD2 (1996-2000) engine parts: OBD2 injector plugs, OBD2 alternator plug and the OBD2 10-pin distributor plug. The computer end still uses OBD1 (1992-1995) plugs, which is how Rywire builds all of its Honda engine harnesses. Wire is single-color black in expandable loom, and the interior side is a separate chassis adapter for your car.

Frequently Asked Questions

My engine has an OBD1 alternator. Is this the right harness?

No. Rywire only makes OBD0/OBD1 to OBD2 alternator adapters, not the other way. With an OBD1 alternator, order the OBD1 Budget D and B-series Tucked Engine Harness and adapt the injectors and distributor if needed.

Does "OBD2" mean it plugs into my OBD2 computer?

No. OBD2 here refers to the injector, alternator and distributor plugs. The computer end uses OBD1 plugs, so an OBD2a or OBD2b computer needs a computer adapter, and USDM OBD2 computers are not supported.

Can I move the harness to a different car later?

Yes. The interior side separates from the engine harness, so a new chassis only needs a new adapter as long as the engine uses the same components. Email service@tunedbyshawn.com with your engine, chassis and ECU before ordering if you are unsure which configuration you need.

Does an OBD2 B-series swap harness plug into my OBD2 computer?

No. On the Rywire B2-Base, OBD2 refers to the injector, alternator and distributor plugs; the computer end uses OBD1 plugs. OBD2a or OBD2b computers need a computer adapter, and USDM OBD2 computers are not supported.
