Description

No kit for your car? Measure the vent line and build it yourself.

The Radium Engineering universal single Fluid Lock catch can kits cover any vehicle without a dedicated Radium kit. Each includes the patented Fluid Lock catch can, a universal mounting bracket, 10 feet of PCV hose, and a generous selection of adapter fittings and hose ends so routing can be worked out on the car rather than designed in advance. Some fittings will go unused, which is the point.

Choose Your Kit

  • 6AN kit (20-1806-FL): for engines running 3/8in (10mm) crankcase vent lines
  • 8AN kit (20-1808-FL): for engines running 1/2in (13mm) vent lines
  • 10AN kit (20-1810-FL): for engines running 5/8in (16mm) vent lines

What You'll Feel

  • Clean intake, intercooler, and throttle body on a car with no off-the-shelf option
  • Fluid Lock protection: the can cannot overfill and dump contaminants back into the intake
  • Enough hose and fittings to route around whatever is in the way
  • A can that is safe on a boosted engine, not just a naturally aspirated one

Features

  • Patented Fluid Lock catch can machined from solid 6061 aluminum
  • Both halves and all ports O-ring sealed, safe for forced induction
  • 10AN ORB (7/8in female) main inlet and outlet ports
  • Integrated dipstick for checking fluid level
  • Two banjos and two straight male fittings in the selected size
  • Six PushLok hose ends per kit: two straight, two 45 degree, two 90 degree
  • 10ft of PCV hose, spring clamps, aluminum bracket, and stainless hardware

The Details

Measure before you order. Kit choice is set by the diameter of the crankcase vent line on your engine, not by engine size or power. Measure the fitting diameters on the engine first: a 3/8in PCV hose calls for the 6AN kit, 1/2in the 8AN, 5/8in the 10AN. Getting this wrong means fittings that will not mate.

The can itself is the same Fluid Lock unit used in every Radium application-specific kit, so this is not a lesser universal part. Its internal mechanism prevents the reservoir overfilling and traps collected fluid until you empty it, rather than letting contaminants overflow into the induction system, which is the classic failure of an unserviced catch can. Because both halves and all ports are O-ring sealed, it is safe on pressurised applications.

Drain periodically and check the level with the dipstick; a service interval decal is included in the kit to help track it. Additional fittings are available separately if your routing needs something the kit does not carry.

Kit Includes

  • 1x Fluid Lock oil catch can with dipstick
  • 2x 10AN ORB to male banjos in the selected size
  • 2x 10AN ORB to male fittings in the selected size
  • 2x PushLok straight, 2x 45 degree, and 2x 90 degree hose ends
  • 2x spring clamps sized to the hose
  • 1x aluminum mounting bracket, 3x stainless M6x1mm bolts, 3x flanged M6x1mm nuts
  • 10ft PCV hose in the selected size
  • 1x service interval decal

Applications

  • Universal, any vehicle without a dedicated Radium catch can kit
  • Suitable for naturally aspirated and forced induction engines

Important Notes

  • Measure your engine's crankcase vent line diameter before ordering to select the correct kit
  • A variety of fittings is supplied so optimum routing can be achieved; some will not be used
