The Details

The dipstick is what makes a catch can serviceable rather than guesswork, so replacing a damaged one is worth doing rather than running blind. The media is a consumable: it accumulates residue over time, and refreshing it restores separation efficiency.

Note these are for the standard catch can. Competition catch cans and the AOS-R use their own dipsticks and service kits.
