Modern OEM fuel systems use SAE quick connect ends on their hard lines, and the cleanest builds adapt them instead of cutting them. Radium Engineering SAE Quick Connect Adapter Fittings make the handshake: female quick connects that click onto factory line ends and convert to 6AN male or barb, including low-profile elbows for tight quarters, plus ORB-to-SAE-male adapters that give Radium rails, filters, and hangers a factory-style connection point. Anodized, fuel-safe, and sold individually by exact configuration.

The Details

SAE quick connects are the plastic-and-steel snap fittings on virtually every modern car's fuel lines, sized by the hard line OD, most commonly 5/16" and 3/8". Measure the factory line before ordering, because the two sizes look similar and do not interchange. The female-to-6AN options are the workhorses here: they click onto the factory feed line and hand off to AN hose, exactly how Radium's own plumbing kits adapt OEM lines (the 20-0290 is the same fitting used in the Evo X rail plumbing kit). The barb versions serve low-pressure and return duties with clamped hose. The ORB-to-SAE-male adapters run the opposite direction, threading into a 10AN ORB port on a Radium filter, rail, or hanger and presenting a factory-style male end that an OEM line or another quick connect fitting can click onto. Push each connection until it clicks, then tug-test; that is the whole install.
