Every deleted line leaves an open port, and an open fuel port is a leak waiting for the next hot restart.

The Radium Engineering 5/16in SAE male plug caps off a 5/16 inch SAE quick connect female line that is no longer in use, snapping into the factory connector exactly like the fitting it replaces. Machined from billet aluminum and anodized for corrosion protection.

The Details

SAE quick connect sizing is measured by the outside diameter of the male fitting: 0.3125 inch is 5/16, 0.3750 is 3/8, 0.5000 is 1/2, 0.6250 is 5/8. Measure rather than guessing, since 5/16 and 3/8 look nearly identical and do not interchange. Always lubricate the mating O-rings with a light amount of oil before installing. The 3/8 inch equivalent is the 14-0607 plug.
