PTFE hose ends are reusable. The ferrule is the part that is not.

Radium Engineering replacement ferrules for PTFE hose ends, supplied in packs of four. The ferrule is the crimping collar that bites the hose inside the fitting, and it deforms on assembly, so reusing one after a hose has been removed risks a leak.

The Details

Replace the ferrule whenever a PTFE hose end is taken apart and reassembled on new hose. The body of the hose end is reusable indefinitely; the ferrule is the consumable, and fitting a fresh one is what makes reusing an expensive fitting safe rather than a gamble.

Match the pack to your hose end size, not your hose ID, and note these suit Radium PTFE hose ends specifically.
