Description

When the filler hose has to turn hard the moment it leaves the fender, a straight barb is not an option.

The Radium Engineering remote mount vented female dry break, 1.5in elbow mounts to an external body panel such as a fender and receives the male dry break probe from a dump can. This version ships with a 75 degree 24AN hose end and a 1.5 inch barb, so the filler hose can be routed immediately away from the panel rather than needing space behind it for a straight run. The vented fuel cap includes roll-over protection if the car ends up inverted.

The Details

All three Radium remote fillers share the same housing, hole size, and flange pattern; they differ only in what leaves the back. This one exits at 75 degrees through 24AN, the 20-1004-V uses a straight 1.5in barb, and the 20-1204-V uses a straight 2.25in barb. Better still, the outlet adapter is O-ring sealed and interchangeable: six screws swap it, so a filler bought today can change hose size later using the 20-1007, 20-1008, or 20-1015 adapters. Mates to the 20-0996 or 20-0496 male probe. Add the 20-0604 dust cap to keep debris out of the receiver between fills.
