The Radium Engineering RA-Series Fuel Cell Weld-In Cage is that cradle: a pre-fabricated weld-in cage that speeds fuel cell installation and offers a secure, robust cradle specifically designed for the Radium fuel cell, compatible with Radium RA-Series fuel cells only. All cages are constructed out of stainless steel and come with anodized and engraved aluminum over-straps, with the main hoop and lower support straps constructed from stainless steel. Select the size matching your RA-series cell: 6, 10, 10.5 (spare tire), 14, or 22 gallon.

Welding is required and should be performed by a professional, with proper steps taken when welding stainless steel to mild steel, since dissimilar-metal welding wants the right filler and technique to stay strong for the crash loads a cell mount exists to survive. The cage's geometry matches its RA cell exactly, with the lower cradle carrying the weight, the hoop locating the body, and the over-straps clamping the cell down, so size selection is simply reading your cell's capacity off its label. Fabricators integrating the cage into a chassis should land it on structure, not floor skin, per their sanctioning body's cell-mounting rules. Fuel cell sold separately.
