Radium PCV Valve 10AN ORB To 5/16in SAE Male | Universal (20-0683)

A check valve is not a PCV valve, and swapping one for the other creates a vacuum leak your tuner will chase for weeks.

The Radium Engineering PCV valve, 10AN ORB to 5/16in SAE male is a true positive crankcase ventilation valve whose internal plunger dynamically meters crankcase vent airflow against engine load, rather than simply passing flow one direction. That metering is what prevents the vacuum leak a plain check valve creates at low load, and in a backfire the valve blocks combustible vapor from igniting inside the crankcase. It threads into the outlet of any Radium catch can or any 10AN ORB female port and terminates in a 5/16 inch SAE quick connect male.

The Details

This is the straight-body version, which fits standard catch cans, standard Fluid Lock catch cans, Competition catch cans, and PCV baffle plates without any clearance consideration. The swiveling 20-1000 series PCV valves, by contrast, need an extra 0.26 inch of depth past the threads and will not fit standard or standard Fluid Lock cans. If your build needs the outlet clocked to a specific angle, check that clearance first; if it does not, this is the simpler part.
