The Details

The two circuits earn their cans differently. The PCV line flows under metered vacuum at idle, cruise, and deceleration, dragging crankcase vapor, unspent fuel, and oil sludge toward the manifold right after high load runs; the PCV can intercepts that stream while the factory check valve keeps doing its job. The crankcase side handles the WOT story, when blow-by heads for the intake pipe. Because the cans are sealed rather than vented, the system keeps its closed-loop character: separated oil stays in the can for the dipstick to find, cleaned gasses return to be burned, and slight negative crankcase pressure is preserved rather than dumped.
