When cornering loads push fuel away from the pickup, no amount of pump upgrades in the main tank will save you. The Radium Engineering Multi-Pump Fuel Surge Tank (MPFST), redesigned for 2024, sits between your lift pump and engine as a constantly full reservoir housing up to three high-flow pumps, with all outlets merging internally into a single port. Fuel entering the SUPPLY and RETURN ports runs tangentially through the canister as a swirl pot, stripping out air bubbles and foam before the pumps ever see them. Choose the configuration matching your pumps, sold separately. Starvation resistance plus the fueling headroom for serious power.

The Details

A surge tank works because it is always full: your lift pump and the regulator's return keep the canister topped up, so the internal pumps feeding the engine never see the slosh happening in the main tank. The 2024 MPFST redesign merges each pump's outlet internally, which removes the external check-valve manifold plumbing older multi-pump setups needed, and because compatible pumps carry their own check valves, you can stage pumps and only run what the moment demands. Note the Bosch BR540 does not include a check valve. Wiring is per-pump through labeled anti-rotation studs on the top hat, and Radium recommends one 17-0031 DIY wiring kit per pump circuit. Mounting uses the included stainless M6x1.0mm socket head bolts with a threaded plate or nuts behind your chosen surface. Two configuration cautions from Radium: with the physically larger BR540/DW400 pumps, three pumps cannot be installed if using the optional fuel level switch, and fewer than three pumps does not require blocking the empty port. Pumps are not included.
