Description

The 2UZ was built to move a Land Cruiser, not to chase power. Its fuel rails are the first restriction you meet.

The Radium Engineering fuel rails for the Toyota 2UZ-FE non VVT-i are CNC machined with 0.7 inch large internal bores, so flow stops limiting the engine. Each rail carries three 8AN ORB (3/4in-16) ports, and modular mounting feet make them specific to the early non VVT-i intake manifold. They bolt directly to the engine with no permanent modification and no special tools.

Choose Your Parts

  • Fuel rails (20-0962): the billet rail pair. Adapter fittings and hose sold separately.
  • Fuel rail plumbing kit (20-0964): everything needed to get the engine running with those rails, including regulator, gauge, and two pulse dampers

What You'll Feel

  • Fuel flow that keeps up as injectors and power grow, through 0.7in bores
  • Adjustable fuel pressure you can set and monitor rather than guess at
  • A bolt-on install reusing the factory thermal insulating spacers
  • Stock or aftermarket injectors of the same fitment, no conversion required

Features

  • CNC machined lightweight aluminum, anodized for wear and corrosion resistance
  • 0.7 inch inner bore diameter
  • Three 8AN ORB (3/4in-16) ports per rail
  • Injector ports compatible with 11mm upper injector O-rings
  • Modular mounting feet suited to the non VVT-i intake manifold
  • Reuses the factory thermal insulating spacers
  • No special tools required for installation

The Details

The non VVT-i restriction is mechanical, not a labelling preference. These rails are NOT compatible with VVT-i engines because of cam sensor interference. Toyota ran both versions of this engine across overlapping years and chassis, so confirm which one you have before ordering; Radium builds a separate rail for the VVT-i 1UZ, 2UZ, and 3UZ.

The plumbing kit is a complete solution rather than a bag of adapters. It carries a DMR-RA direct mount rotating regulator, two FPD-R fuel pulse dampers, and a fuel pressure gauge, along with 6AN and 5AN EFI PushLok hose and ends, an inverted flare 6AN fitting, SAE quick connectors, anodized adapters, vacuum hose, and stainless clamps. Radium's own phrasing is that with the rails, it includes everything required to get the engine running.

Buying the rails alone means sourcing your own fittings and hose. Leave clearance around any port destined to carry a regulator, gauge, or damper.

Kit Includes

  • 20-0962: anodized aluminum fuel rails with modular mounting feet. Fittings and hose sold separately.
  • 20-0964: DMR-RA direct mount regulator, 2x FPD-R fuel pulse dampers, fuel pressure gauge, 6AN and 5AN EFI PushLok hose and hose ends, inverted flare 6AN fitting, SAE quick connectors, anodized adapter fittings, 5/32in vacuum hose, stainless steel clamps
  • NOT included: fuel injectors
