The Radium Engineering fuel rail plumbing kits for the GM Vortec 8100 L18 big block supply everything needed to plumb the 20-0862 fuel rails into the factory system. Both adapt to the OEM feed line through an SAE quick connect and run an 8AN crossover line around the rear of the engine joining the two rails, with 8AN ORB plugs for every unused port and a thermal insulation sleeve on the hose. Radium's own phrasing is that nothing else is required.

Choose Your Kit

• 01-03, return style (20-1062): adds a 0-100psi gauge and direct mount adjustable regulator on the LH rail. The OEM return SAE quick connector attaches straight to the regulator outlet.
• 04-10, returnless (20-1162): adds an FPD-R direct mount fuel pulse damper on the LH rail to stabilise pressure.

The Details

The split is not cosmetic. The 01-03 trucks run a return style fuel system, so that kit carries a regulator and gauge and ties the OEM return line to the regulator outlet. The 04-10 trucks are returnless, where an adjustable regulator has nothing to return to, so that kit substitutes an FPD-R pulse damper to steady pressure instead. Fitting the wrong one leaves you either with a regulator you cannot plumb or without the pressure control you expected.

Both kits are built specifically around the Radium 20-0862 rails, which are sold separately, and both include the swivel fittings needed to mate cleanly to the factory SAE quick connects.
