The Radium Engineering fuel rail for the VW 2.8L 24V VR6 is machined with dual 3/8in (6AN) internal bores that connect internally to all six injectors. Combined, those two bores give 12 percent more flow area than a single 1/2in (8AN) bore, which is how it supports serious power without growing in size. Because the rail is machined low profile, it clears the OEM intake manifold.

The Details

This is an upgrade rail, not a top feed conversion. OEM or OEM-equivalent injectors must be used: same height, with upper and lower O-rings matching the factory diameters and styles. Radium does not make injector recommendations, so consult your tuner for flow rate and the injector manufacturer for a part number with the correct dimensions.

The plumbing kit is the more complete route. It replaces every OEM component downstream of the SAE quick connect hard lines in the engine bay and runs fuel through a Radium MPR multiport regulator, 1:1 vacuum referenced into a dead head rail, with a 0-100psi gauge for calibration. PushLok hose ends with EFI hose mean the routing can be tailored to the car, and plugs are supplied for all unused ports.
