The Radium Engineering fuel pump hanger for the Mitsubishi Evo 1-6 replaces the factory in-tank assembly with a single pump hanger that accepts anything from a 340LPH brushed pump to an 810LPH brushless unit, two wire or three and four wire alike. The OEM fuel level sensor and low fuel indicator are reused, so the gauge cluster keeps working exactly as it did. After it is installed, the pump and sensors are reachable through the OEM access covers, which means no more dropping the tank to service the fuel system.

The Details

Starvation protection comes from the OEM collector bowl, whose labyrinth holds fuel during aggressive driving. That bowl is constantly replenished from two sources: the pressure regulator return and the crossover hose, which pulls from the passive side of the saddle tank driven by the PRV venturi jet pump. The pressure relief function is the notable upgrade here, since it bypasses high return line pressure to keep rail pressure stable rather than letting the jet pump become a restriction. Single pump installs can reuse the OEM fuel pump wiring, though upgrading it is recommended so the pump sees full voltage; a Radium DIY wiring kit covers that.
