Description

A fuel gauge that still works after a hanger swap is worth the small part that makes it happen.

The Details

Ohm range has to match what your gauge or ECU expects. This sender is 0-90 ohm, which is a common range but not universal, so confirm before ordering. Worth knowing for dual-cell and saddle tank builds: wiring two 0-90 ohm senders in series creates a 0-180 ohm range, or they can feed independent ECU inputs, which is how a passive-side sender can be used to control a lift pump.

The block-off is for openings left behind when a sender is relocated or deleted, and the 18-0020 gasket is a service item worth replacing whenever a 5-bolt sender comes out, since a compressed gasket will not reseal reliably.

Applications

  • Universal, in-tank fuel level sending applications
  • Radium fuel cells and custom tank installations

Important Notes

  • Confirm your gauge or ECU expects a 0-90 ohm range
  • Replace the gasket whenever the sender is removed
