The Z33's cornering starvation has a GSS342-sized answer too.

Nissan split the 350Z's fuel tank over the driveshaft, and the insufficient baffling makes fuel starvation common when cornering aggressively at or below half a tank. The Radium Engineering Fuel Hanger Surge Tank (FHST) for the Nissan 350Z / Infiniti G35 replaces the factory hanger with an integrated surge tank system, and this 20-1830 version fits the Walbro GSS342 255lph and AEM 50-1200 class pumps, the right-sized choice for strong street builds that do not need 450-class flow. Drop-in installation with factory fuel level function retained. Pumps sold separately.

The Details

Saddle tanks starve sideways: fuel migrates to whichever half the corner loads, and the pump side runs dry with gallons still aboard the far side, which is why pump upgrades alone never fix the Z33. The FHST's surge architecture keeps a full reservoir at the pump regardless of migration, with the GSS342/AEM class covering builds through strong bolt-on territory; forced induction and E85 ambitions step up to the 20-1832 Walbro-450/DW440 version instead. Each installed pump wants a Radium DIY wiring kit so current matches flow, and the platform coverage spans the Z33 350Z and V35 G35 sharing this hanger design.
