The 2018+ Coyote runs direct and port injection, and only one regulator setup feeds both properly.

The Radium Engineering fuel hanger plumbing kit for the 2018 and newer Ford Mustang converts the Radium fuel hanger's integrated dead head system into a full return system serving a direct injection engine. The included 20-0806 FPR block-off disables the hanger's internal regulator, a long 8AN PTFE feed line routes underneath the vehicle on two billet fuel and brake line retainers to a Radium check valve fuel filter in a heat shield bracket, and fuel arrives at a Radium dual fuel pressure regulator (DFPR) with two independent regulated outputs. All adapters and fittings are included to connect to the direct injection high pressure fuel pump, the port injection fuel rail, or both. The OEM fuel feed hard line becomes the return.

The Details

The difference between this kit and its 2015-2017 sibling is the regulator, and it follows the engine. Pre-2018 Coyotes are port injected and use a single multi-port regulator; 2018 and later cars add direct injection, so the DFPR carries one output regulating the low pressure feed to the OEM high pressure fuel pump and a second, independently adjustable output for a port injection rail. That makes this kit the correct choice whether the build is a stock-DI car needing return-style control, or a full port injection conversion. As with every Radium hanger, the OEM post-pump filter is gone once the hanger is in, so the check valve filter here is required equipment. Radium fuel rails are sold separately.
