The Radium Engineering fuel hanger plumbing kit for the 2015-2017 Ford Mustang converts the hanger's integrated dead head setup into a full return system running from the tank to the engine bay. It starts with the 20-0806 FPR block-off that disables the hanger's internal regulator, then routes a long 8AN PTFE feed line underneath the vehicle, secured with two billet fuel and brake line retainers, to a Radium check valve fuel filter carried in a heat shield bracket. From there the fuel reaches a Radium multi-port regulator (MPR) with all adapters and fittings included to connect to the port injection fuel rail. The OEM fuel feed hard line is repurposed as the return.

The Details

This kit exists because of a design choice in the Radium 2011+ Mustang hanger: it regulates fuel pressure internally and dead heads at the rail, exactly like the OE system, which makes it a plug and play swap on a stock car. The moment you want an engine bay regulator and aftermarket rails, that internal regulator has to come out of the circuit, and the 20-0806 block-off in this kit is what does it, sealing the regulator and opening the hanger's return port for the line back from the MPR. The hanger also eliminates the OEM post-pump filter, so the check valve filter here is not optional equipment; it is the filtration the system requires. Radium fuel rails are sold separately.

Important Notes

• On manual transmission cars the 2-bolt flange clutch line bracket must be moved slightly to clear the fuel filter inlet fitting
• 2018 and newer Mustangs use the 20-1817-03 / 20-1817-05 kit, which substitutes a dual fuel pressure regulator for the direct injection system
