Rather than abandoning the factory feed hard line, the kit converts it into the return path from the regulator back to the tank, which eliminates the restrictive OEM return arrangement while reusing infrastructure the car already has. Filtration placement matters here because the Radium hanger deletes the OEM module's post-pump filter, so the in-line filter in this kit is not optional equipment; it is the injectors' only protection. Element choice follows the usual rule: stainless can be cleaned and reused, microglass captures finer but gets replaced at end of service.
