Description

The surge tank deletes the factory post pump filter. This is the kit that puts filtration back.

The Radium Engineering fuel hanger feed kit for the BMW E90, E91, E92, and E93 runs an 8AN PTFE feed line from the FHST outlet, underneath the car, to a Radium high flow fuel filter secured to the body using OEM hardware, then reattaches the factory N54 or N55 fuel line through a supplied SAE quick connect. The line clears the OEM fuel pump cover and all suspension components, and no cutting or drilling is required.

Choose Your Kit

  • Stainless filter (20-0475-03): high flow 10 micron element
  • Microglass filter (20-0475-05): high flow 6 micron element for finer filtration

What You'll Feel

  • Proper post pump filtration restored after the FHST removes the OEM unit
  • PTFE feed line that shrugs off E85 and pump gas alike
  • A bolt-in route with no cutting, drilling, or suspension interference
  • The factory fuel line reconnected on a proper SAE quick connect

Features

  • 8AN PTFE fuel feed line from the FHST outlet
  • High flow fuel filter, 10 micron stainless or 6 micron microglass depending on selection
  • Billet filter clamp and BMW-specific filter mount using OEM hardware
  • SAE quick connect to reattach the OEM N54/N55 fuel line
  • Black adapter fittings and stainless steel hardware

The Details

Element choice is the only difference between the two kits. The 10 micron stainless element is the more open of the two, while the 6 micron microglass filters finer, which matters most where injectors are expensive or fuel quality is uncertain. This kit is the natural companion to the 20-1970 or 20-1972 FHST, which eliminates the OEM post pump filter as part of the install, so filtration has to be re-established downstream.

Kit Includes

  • High flow fuel filter with selected element
  • Fuel filter billet clamp
  • BMW fuel filter mount
  • Black adapter fittings and stainless steel hardware
  • NOT included: fuel hanger surge tank and fuel pumps

Applications

  • BMW E90, E91, E92, and E93 3-series with the N54 or N55 engine

Important Notes

  • NOT compatible with the M3 because of its exhaust system routing
  • Designed for use with the Radium FHST (20-1970 or 20-1972)
