An aftermarket hanger deletes the factory post-pump filter. Something has to replace it before the injectors find out.

The Radium Engineering fuel filter kit for the 2015 and newer Ford Mustang puts a proper low micron filter back into the feed side after a hanger swap. The large bracket bolts to OEM threaded holes under the brake booster near the LH strut tower, and its reflective finish doubles as a heat shield protecting the fuel system from header heat, with the filter clamped inside it on a two-piece billet mount. 6AN PTFE hoses and fittings adapt to the OEM feed line and fuel rail, and a replacement EVAP line is included to simplify the install. No cutting or drilling.

The Details

This kit exists because of a consequence most hanger buyers do not anticipate: aftermarket Mustang hangers typically eliminate the internal post-pump filter, leaving the injectors with no downstream protection. If you have fitted or plan to fit a hanger, this is not optional equipment.

The mount-only option is the right choice if you already own a filter or intend to run custom plumbing; it supplies the heat shield bracket, the billet clamp, and hardware, without the filter, hoses, or fittings. Note that the SAE disconnect tool is included in the complete kits, which saves a trip to the parts store on install day.
