The 4AN ORB port seals the same disciplined way as every other size.

The Radium Engineering 4AN ORB Plug closes any female 4AN ORB (7/16"-20) port: machined anodized aluminum threading in against an O-ring for a positive seal that reopens cleanly whenever the port's future arrives. The drain-port size, sealing catch can drains and small auxiliary ports.

The Details

ORB plugs seal on the O-ring, so the rule never changes: lubricate the ring with O-ring lube, petroleum jelly, or oil before threading in, snug against the boss, no sealant. Inspect the ring at every removal, replacing on any nick or flattening. Sold individually.
