The Radium Engineering Submersible Fuel Tubing, 3/8" x 17.7" Long is the in-tank hose: fully submersible-rated fuel tubing for the connections that live inside tanks, hangers, and surge canisters, where ordinary fuel hose degrades from the outside-in. One 17.7" length of 3/8" tubing, gasoline and ethanol compatible.

The Details

The submersible distinction is chemistry, with standard fuel hose rated to carry fuel inside while its jacket resists weather, but inside a tank the jacket soaks continuously and ordinary hose softens, swells, and sheds, feeding debris straight to the pump sock; submersible-rated tubing is compounded to live immersed. This is the hose Radium's in-tank architecture assumes, cut to length for pump-to-outlet and transfer connections and secured with proper clamps. Replace any in-tank hose of unknown pedigree while the hanger is out. Sold as one length.
