The DMR was born to live on the rail, but not every engine bay agrees.

Radium's direct mount regulator bolts to the fuel rail's outlet port by design, and sometimes that spot is buried under an intake manifold runner or a brake booster. The Radium Engineering DMR Remote Mount Adapter Kit relocates it: a stainless steel mounting bracket plus alternative regulator inlet fittings for 6AN or 8AN hose let the DMR mount anywhere in the vehicle like a standard aftermarket regulator, fed by a hose from the rail instead of threading onto it. Same regulator, wherever it actually fits.

The Details

The conversion follows Radium's documented sequence: lubricate and install the chosen ORB inlet fitting into the DMR's side inlet port, attach the bracket with the M5x0.8 screws, mount the assembly, then build a hose from the fuel rail outlet to the DMR inlet and run the return from the DMR's bottom 6AN ORB port back to the tank. The DMR's two 1/8" NPT ports remain available for a gauge (with PTFE paste) and the vacuum reference works exactly as it does rail-mounted, so nothing about the regulator's function changes, only its address. Remember Radium's standing rule for every DMR install: the regulator ships unset and must be adjusted to your application's pressure using a gauge or sensor before the engine runs. DMR regulator, hose, and gauge sold separately.
