Radium Engineering RA-Series Fuel Cell
A fabricated aluminum tank looks the part right up until the day it matters. When your build is fast enough that sanctioning bodies start asking questions, a certified fuel cell is the answer, and the RA-Series is Radium Engineering's ground-up take on competition fuel containment: designed, manufactured and serialized in-house to meet the top safety requirements set by FIA and SFI.
The heart of every RA-Series cell is the bladder, a seamless polymer unit that undergoes the full battery of certification testing and shrugs off every fuel you can throw at it: gasoline, diesel, AV gas, E15, E85, ethanol and methanol. Around it, a powder coated aluminum enclosure, explosion suppressing anti-slosh foam, and an anodized aluminum nut ring with a removable inspection plate. These cells suit every motorsports discipline from road racing and time attack to drifting, rally, off-road and endurance.
Certifications
Every RA-Series fuel cell is tested and approved by both FIA and SFI, serialized, and shipped with certifications and associated paperwork. Certifications are valid for 5 years from the date of manufacture. Radium does not sell fuel cells without certifications.
Sizes
Five sizes are available; custom sizes are not. The bladder manufacturing process inherently requires large tolerances, so listed volumes are expected ranges per bladder and measurements do not account for objects inside the cell. Measure your space carefully before ordering.

Matching Accessories
Radium builds a full ecosystem around the RA-Series, all sold separately. Dry carbon fiber lids are sized to each cell: 13-0406-01 for the 6 gallon, 13-0410-01 for the 10 and 14 gallon, and 13-0422-01 for the 22 gallon. FCST fuel cell surge tanks, pump systems, mounting kits, weld-in cages, vent kits and refueling kits complete the installation. Ordering a cell with an FCST-X surge tank? They ship assembled.
Important Notes
All fuel cell sales are final and cannot be returned or exchanged, so measure carefully prior to ordering. Fuel cells are built to order and ship in 4 to 7 business days when bladders are in stock; out of stock cells can take up to 8 weeks.
