The Radium Engineering PCV Fluid Lock catch can kit for the 1996-2001 Toyota Chaser, Mark II, and Cresta pulls oil and water condensation out of the crankcase gases before they reach the intake manifold. Closed loop, so it does not vent to atmosphere: filtered air routes back to the engine to be burned, keeping it emissions and track legal and keeping oil smell out of the cabin.

The Details

The PCV hose sees metered vacuum at idle, steady cruise, and deceleration, drawing crankcase vapour, unspent fuel, and oil sludge into the manifold right after a high load run. On a JZ making real power, those runs are frequent and the deposits accumulate quickly.

No fixed emptying interval applies: check the dipstick at three to four weeks and set your own schedule. This pairs naturally with the Radium 20-0940 fuel pump hanger for the same chassis.
