The Details

Bolted joints conduct heat better than the panels around them, metal fastener clamped to metal structure, which is why isolating a component means isolating its fasteners: the phenolic's low conductivity interrupts the path while carrying the clamp load. Radium's hardware kits use the material where fuel and fluid components mount near heat, and the washers serve any M8 joint needing the same treatment. Torque sensibly, since phenolic carries clamping force but not gorilla torque. Sold individually; count your fasteners.
