Description

Cantilevered mounting is a strength problem before it is anything else.

The Radium Engineering FST Frame Mounting Bracket is built for exactly that load case: a 90 degree formed bend hangs the surge tank off a frame rail, so Radium constructs this bracket from steel for superior strength rather than aluminum. Nickel plating resists corrosion, and a spare hole in the bracket doubles as a grounding point when bolted to conductive steel frame, solving mounting and electrical grounding in one part. Sold as the bracket with hardware; FST sold separately.

What You'll Feel

  • A surge tank hung confidently off frame structure without flex or fatigue worry
  • Corrosion protection for the under-car environment this bracket lives in
  • A ready-made ground point for the FST pump right at the mounting location
  • Cantilevered placement options no flat-surface bracket can offer

Features

  • 90 degree formed bend for cantilevered frame rail mounting
  • Constructed from steel for superior strength under cantilever load
  • Nickel plated to resist corrosion
  • Spare hole provides a component grounding point when mounted to a conductive steel frame
  • Compatible with Radium FST fuel surge tanks; hardware included

The Details

Placement rules apply to every bracket in the family: the FST can live almost anywhere in the vehicle, but keep it away from collision prone areas, heat sources, and moving parts like suspension components. Orientation matters by tank type, since single pump FSTs mount anywhere from vertical to horizontal, while dual pump FSTs cannot sit completely horizontal because their internal pickups are on opposing sides. Radium offers this bracket alongside two other configurations, so match the bracket to the mounting surface your chassis actually offers.

Kit Includes

  • 1x Frame Rail Mount bracket (13-0011)
  • Mounting hardware
  • FST NOT included, sold separately

Applications

  • Universal: Radium FST fuel surge tanks
  • Single pump FSTs: any orientation vertical to horizontal; dual pump FSTs: not fully horizontal
