Description

Some chassis simply do not have the vertical room a surge tank wants.

The Radium Engineering FST Angled Mounting Bracket exists for those installs: it holds a Radium fuel surge tank at an angle for vehicles with limited mounting height, letting the tank tuck into spaces a vertical mount could never use. Since single pump FSTs are approved for any orientation from vertical to horizontal, the angled position sacrifices nothing in function. Sold as the bracket with hardware; FST sold separately.

What You'll Feel

  • A surge tank fitting under a parcel shelf, floor hump, or low trunk where vertical mounting fails
  • Full FST function preserved at the angle, per Radium's orientation ratings
  • More candidate mounting locations opened up across the chassis
  • A purpose-made angle instead of shimmed improvisation

Features

  • Angles the surge tank for vehicles with limited mounting height
  • Compatible with Radium FST fuel surge tanks
  • Single pump FSTs function correctly at any angle from vertical to horizontal
  • Mounting hardware included

The Details

Placement rules apply to every bracket in the family: the FST can live almost anywhere in the vehicle, but keep it away from collision prone areas, heat sources, and moving parts like suspension components. Orientation matters by tank type, since single pump FSTs mount anywhere from vertical to horizontal, while dual pump FSTs cannot sit completely horizontal because their internal pickups are on opposing sides. Radium offers this bracket alongside two other configurations, so match the bracket to the mounting surface your chassis actually offers.
