Ford's returnless fuel system is the modified Mustang's quiet ceiling, and this hanger removes it.

The Radium Engineering Fuel Pump Hanger for the 2011+ Ford Mustang and Shelby is a drop-in replacement for the OE in-tank pump module running 1 or 2 aftermarket pumps, with an integrated fuel pressure regulator supplying the engine at a 1:1 rate. The internal pumps are supplied with fuel from 3 different sources: the venturi jet pump scavenging fuel from the passive side of the tank, the returned fuel from the integrated regulator, and the two 355LPH one-way fill valves on the bottom of the collector box that allow fuel in but not out, ensuring the pumps feeding the engine are always supplied even in extreme driving conditions. The OEM fuel tank access cover and rear seat bench fit without modifications, and the system is compatible with all alternative fuels including E85. Pumps sold separately.

The Details

Radium's filtering note is non-negotiable: always install a sock filter to the pump inlets, and because the hanger eliminates the OEM post-pump filter in the factory unit, a low micron aftermarket filter MUST be installed downstream to protect the injectors from debris, with Radium's 20-0220-05 microglass and 20-0220-03 stainless filters built for the job. Version selection starts at the pump, with the brushless 20-0801-00 including two bolt-on check valves since the E5LM-class pump lacks one integrated, which also permits the pump staging common in dual-pump systems. The optional 20-0806 block-off converts the built-in-regulator dead head architecture to a full return system through the 6AN port. Fitment spans the Mustang GT, Shelby GT350, and GT500 generations across S197 and S550.
