Description

The 2AN ORB port seals the same disciplined way as every other size.

The Radium Engineering 2AN ORB Plug closes any female 2AN ORB (5/16"-24) port: machined anodized aluminum threading in against an O-ring for a positive seal that reopens cleanly whenever the port's future arrives. The smallest member of the plug family, sealing vapor and vent ports.

The Details

ORB plugs seal on the O-ring, so the rule never changes: lubricate the ring with O-ring lube, petroleum jelly, or oil before threading in, snug against the boss, no sealant. Inspect the ring at every removal, replacing on any nick or flattening. Sold individually.
