Description

Two female ends, two sizes, one coupler bridging them.

The Radium Engineering 10AN Female to 6AN Female Fitting joins a male 10AN flare to a male 6AN flare across the size step: female swivel threads both ends, connecting mismatched male-terminated components and hoses without re-terminating either.

What You'll Feel

  • A 10AN component meeting a 6AN line at one serviceable junction
  • Both ends swiveling for alignment during install
  • Standard flare sealing across the reduction

Features

  • 10AN female to 6AN female reducing union
  • Machined anodized aluminum; 37 degree flare sealing both ends
  • All fuel and oil types

The Details

The reducing union earns its keep where a large-port component, a catch can main or surge tank fitting, meets smaller downstream plumbing: the 10AN end lands on the component's male fitting, the 6AN end takes the line, and the flow necks down at one honest junction instead of an adapter chain. Consider flow needs before reducing, since necking a feed line below its duty creates the restriction the big port existed to avoid; vents, drains, and reference circuits reduce freely. Both ends install dry, hand tight plus 1/4 to 1/2 turn, two wrenches. Sold individually.
