The Radium Engineering Dual Catch Can Kit for the Lotus Elise and Exige is designed for the 2ZZ-GE equipped models, supercharged and normally aspirated alike, including a specialized mounting bracket as well as all necessary hoses, fittings, and hardware. Radium catch cans feature large 10AN ORB ports, a 4AN ORB drain port, 2-step oil separation baffling, and an O-ring sealed dipstick, and the Fluid Lock design's patented mechanism prevents the reservoir from overfilling, trapping collected fluids until emptied. Both crankcase circuits covered, one bolt-in kit.

The Details

Mid-engine packaging makes the Lotus install its own discipline, and the specialized bracket solves it, mounting both cans in the tight bay with everything serviceable: fluid level checks by unscrewing the billet dipstick, and the lower half of the can bodies unscrewing for draining. The dual architecture covers PCV and breather circuits independently, which matters doubly on supercharged cars where blow-by scales with boost. Collection rate varies by engine, so there is no set emptying interval; the dipstick sets the schedule, checked at 3 to 4 weeks initially. A clean intake also protects the 2ZZ's knock margin, where the cam-switchover engine's compression makes octane integrity worth keeping.
