Radium Engineering Catch Can Kits | 2020-2026 Toyota GR Supra (20-0749/0/1)
Product details
Description
The B58 is famous for two things: making easy power, and coating its own intake tract in oil while doing it.
Toyota's MK5 Supra inherited BMW's brilliant turbo six and its enthusiastic crankcase ventilation. The Radium Engineering Catch Can Kits for the Toyota MK5 GR Supra intercept both circuits with Fluid Lock cans on Supra-specific brackets: the PCV kit (20-0749-FL) mounts to threaded bosses on the front radiator support inline between the ventilation valve and intake pipe, deliberately clear of upgraded turbos and intake tubing; the CCV kit (20-0750-FL) mounts to two holes on the same support inline with the crankcase vent; and the dual kit (20-0751-FL) runs both. All models, all trims, RHD and LHD, factory holes only, closed loop, emissions and track legal.
What You'll Feel
- The turbocharger inlet fed clean filtered air instead of metered crankcase vapor
- The intercooler holding thermal efficiency instead of collecting oil film under WOT flow
- An install that stays clear of the upgrade path, with mounting positioned away from aftermarket turbo and intake hardware
- Overfill protection from the Fluid Lock design, even when service slips
- Track and emissions legality from the sealed, non-VTA loop, with no vapors reaching the cabin
Features
- 20-0749-FL PCV kit: inline between the ventilation valve and intake pipe, mounting to front radiator support bosses; traps metered crankcase vapor, unspent fuel, and oil sludge
- 20-0750-FL CCV kit: mounts to 2 holes on the front radiator support, catching high-load crankcase flow before the intake system
- 20-0751-FL dual kit: both cans for full coverage
- Fluid Lock cans: 10AN ORB ports, 4AN ORB drain port, 2-step oil separation baffling, O-ring sealed dipstick
- Pressure sealed, so no extra inline check valve is required
- Baffled can, MK5-specific bracket, AN adapter fittings and hose ends, stainless hardware, and Radium PCV hose in every kit
The Details
The B58's two circuits split the load map the usual way, with the PCV path flowing under metered conditions and the CCV path flowing hardest at wide open throttle, when high crankcase flow would otherwise send oil and sludge into the air filter intake pipe and onward to the intercooler. Radium is explicit that the CCV kit does not address the PCV side, which is why the two kits are recommended together and the dual kit exists as the complete answer. The radiator support mounting location is quietly clever, keeping both cans out of the way of the turbo upgrades this platform attracts, so the catch can install survives the build's next three phases untouched. No cutting, drilling, or permanent modifications anywhere. Check dipsticks starting at 3 to 4 weeks; drain by unscrewing the reservoir or adding the optional petcock kit.
