The Radium Engineering Brushless Ti Automotive E5LM Fuel Cell Surge Tank is the top-shelf FCST configuration: Radium's fuel cell surge tank architecture built around the Ti Automotive E5LM brushless pump, mounting through the cell lid with the surge canister below, feeding four-digit builds from a reservoir that never runs dry. Anodized aluminum, alcohol-compliant materials, and the brushless pump's flow and longevity at the center. Controller required, sold separately.

The Details

The FCST format puts the surge tank inside the cell, with the lid carrying the assembly, the canister staying flooded by the fill architecture, and the E5LM drawing from that always-full column regardless of fuel level or cornering load; the brushless heart is the difference, with flow that scales via the controller and service life that outruns brushed pumps at sustained duty. The controller requirement is absolute, since brushless pumps do not run on switched 12V, so budget the controller and its wiring into the build. Verify cell lid bolt pattern compatibility and plumb per Radium's instructions, and the cell feeds the engine like a fixture instead of a compromise.
