The Radium Engineering 6AN to 8AN Male Adapter Fitting is the flare-to-flare size step: 6AN male on one end, 8AN male on the other, joining a 6AN hose end to an 8AN hose end anywhere two line sizes have to meet. Machined anodized aluminum, sealing on standard 37 degree flare faces at both ends.

The Details

Size transitions happen in real fuel systems more than diagrams admit: an 8AN feed meeting a 6AN rail inlet, a 6AN return joining an 8AN bulkhead, a staged build running one line size ahead of the other. This union makes the step at the joint where it belongs. Both ends follow AN flare rules: install dry and clean, hand thread each hose end until fully engaged, then tighten 1/4 to 1/2 turn past bottomed out, no sealant or tape ever. Sold individually.
