The Details

M12x1.0 is the fine-pitch member of the M12 family, appearing on sensors, banjo bosses, and Japanese fuel hardware where its coarser 1.25 and 1.5 siblings do not fit, and pitch verification is the whole game before ordering: metric threads a half-pitch apart will start, bind, and strip. The metric end seals per the receiving port's design, crush washer replaced at every service on flat-bottomed ports, while the ORB end follows the standard, lubricated ring and no sealant.
