The Radium Engineering 6AN 90 Degree Push-Lok Hose End terminates 6AN-size push-on hose with a hard 90 degree turn: the barbed stem grips push-on style hose without clamps as the hose's design intends, and the swivel nut mates to any 6AN male flare. It is the fitting Radium includes with its own coolant expansion tank kits, available here individually for repairs, extensions, and custom routing.

The Details

Push-Lok systems work by interference: the specially constructed hose stretches over the barbed stem and grips it permanently, which is why the pairing is hose-specific, and standard braided or PTFE hose does not belong on these stems. Assembly is honest work, with the hose pressed fully home to the stem's shoulder, ideally with a drop of lubricant on the stem, and no clamp added afterward since clamping can actually compromise the design's seal. Common duty includes coolant expansion tank plumbing, catch can vent routing, and low-pressure fuel vent lines. The 6AN nut side installs dry on its flare: hand tight, then 1/4 to 1/2 turn. Sold individually.
