The bigger NPT port deserves the same disciplined plug as the small one.

The Radium Engineering 3/8" NPT Plug seals the mid-size tapered ports: pump housings, filter heads, and accessory blocks carrying unused 3/8" NPT ports, all closed with a machined plug on the thread standard they speak.

The Details

NPT seals on the taper, so the rule holds at every size: PTFE thread sealant paste on the plug threads, threaded in snug without over-torquing the receiving boss, and the joint holds pressure indefinitely. The 3/8" size appears on external pumps, filter mounts, and cooler blocks, and every unused port is a future leak until it meets its plug. Sealant not included. Sold individually.
