The Radium Engineering 10AN ORB Fitting to Air Filter converts a catch can's vent port into a proper filtered breather: the fitting threads into any female 10AN ORB (7/8"-14) port, seals on its O-ring, and carries a small air filter that lets crankcase pressure escape while keeping dirt out of the can. It is the finishing piece for vented and open-element catch can configurations, race cars running atmosphere-vented breather systems, and any 10AN ORB port that needs to breathe.

The Details

Radium's sealed catch can systems return filtered air to the intake, but some builds, particularly race cars and vehicles where emissions equipment is not in play, run the can vented to atmosphere instead. Radium's own guidance on open systems is candid: they eliminate any chance of oil vapor returning to the intake, but they are not smog legal and will not pass a visual emissions check, and without an intake return the crankcase loses the slight vacuum sealed systems can provide. Where an open configuration is the right call for the build, this fitting does it correctly, filtering the breather path in both directions. Install like any ORB fitting: lubricate the O-ring before threading in, no sealant. Sold individually.
