Description

Sometimes the gauge fits the port perfectly and points at the frame rail.

The Radium Engineering 1/8" NPT Male to Female 90 Degree Fitting solves orientation problems in one move: thread the male end into any 1/8" NPT port, and the female end presents the same thread turned 90 degrees, letting a gauge face the right way or a sender clear an obstruction. Small part, disproportionate usefulness.

What You'll Feel

  • Gauges readable from where you actually stand instead of facing the fender
  • Senders and switches cleared away from hoses, brackets, and heat
  • The same 1/8" NPT interface preserved on both ends, no thread conversion needed

Features

  • 1/8" NPT male inlet to 1/8" NPT female outlet at 90 degrees
  • Machined construction suitable for fuel, oil, and pressure sensing duty
  • Pairs with Radium gauges, pressure switches, and NPT-ported adapters

The Details

NPT is a tapered, thread-sealing standard, which means every joint on this fitting follows the same rule: apply PTFE thread sealant paste to the male threads before assembly, thread in, and tighten to orient. Because tightening and clocking are the same action with tapered threads, plan the final orientation as you torque rather than backing off, since loosening an NPT joint to aim it invites weeping. Typical duty includes turning a Radium 0-100 psi gauge upright on a rail adapter, angling a pressure switch away from a hot manifold, or snaking a sender into a tight regulator port. Sealant not included. Sold individually.
