Description

The stud is the only thing between pump current and a fuel tank. Treat it as a serviceable part.

Radium Engineering electrical stud service parts cover the studs, nuts, and insulators used on Radium hanger and surge tank top plates. These are the hermetically sealed connections that carry high pump current where a factory multi-pin bulkhead connector would not.

Choose Your Part

  • Anti-rotation locking electrical stud (18-0097)
  • Non-locking electrical stud (18-0027)
  • #10-32 aluminum acorn nut (18-0069)
  • #10-32 locking nut (18-0064)
  • Anti-rotation locking stud insulator (18-0096)
  • Non-locking stud insulator (18-0087)

Features

  • Anti-rotation and non-locking stud styles
  • #10-32 nuts including non-conductive anodized aluminum acorn nuts
  • Matching insulators for each stud style

The Details

Studs and insulators must match style. An anti-rotation locking stud takes the 18-0096 insulator; a non-locking stud takes the 18-0087. Mixing them will not seat properly.

The aluminum acorn nut is non-conductive by design, which is what prevents an accidental short at the top plate if something touches the terminal. It is worth replacing rather than substituting a hardware store nut.

Applications

  • Radium fuel pump hangers, fuel cell surge tanks, and in-tank assemblies

Important Notes

  • Match the insulator to the stud style: 18-0096 for anti-rotation locking, 18-0087 for non-locking
  • Sold individually
