Description

This Honda tank opening is too small to pass two pumps through at once. That is the problem this kit was designed around.

The Radium Engineering dual pump add-on for the 1990-1993 Acura Integra and 1988-1991 Honda Civic and CR-X adds a second pump to an existing Radium hanger. The tank architecture makes this genuinely awkward: a small opening, an insertion angle, a tall collector bowl, and a shallow tank. Radium's answer is an electrical plug and an SAE quick connector that join the assemblies during installation, eliminating the tedious pre-assembly that would otherwise be required before dropping everything into the tank. Both pumps merge into the hanger's single 8AN ORB outlet, and with pumps carrying integrated check valves, staging is permitted.

The Details

Match the add-on to the hanger, not to the car: the 20-1796 pairs with the 20-1790 and the 20-1797 with the 20-1792. The hanger is required and not included.

Neither add-on works with a brushless pump. The extra brushless controller wiring will not fit through the hanger alongside a second pump, so a brushless build stays single pump. Note also that the AEM 50-1230, AEM 50-1235, and Walbro F90000295 have no integrated check valve, which matters if you are relying on staging. Budget a Radium DIY wiring kit for the second pump.
